Our hedge fund investment strategies focus on achieving attractive absolute returns through niche opportunities within under-followed asset classes. We look for securities that provide a significant current income component, are subject to exploitable trading inefficiencies, and have the potential for capital appreciation, often due to an impending event or maturity. In our multi-strategy funds, we achieve portfolio diversification by investing in multiple strategies that have generally exhibited a low correlation to one another and that are also weakly correlated to the broader debt and equity markets. We prefer to invest in securities supported by strong cash flow or asset coverage, or which are senior in the capital structure. We achieve liquidity in the portfolio by investing predominantly in publicly-traded securities that are short duration in nature.
