SCOTT SCHLECTER

Co-Managing Partner

Mr. Shlecter is a co-managing partner for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors. He is responsible for real estate investment trusts (REITs).

Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2002, Mr. Shlecter had a 25-year career in strategy consulting at Bain & Company and LEK Consulting where he founded and managed U.S. operations. His consulting experience was in high technology and healthcare, where he was involved in many company start ups and acquisitions.

Mr. Shlecter earned a S.B. in Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1974, and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School in 1978, where he was a Baker Scholar.
