David Petrucco

Senior Managing Director

David Petrucco is a is a senior managing director of Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors.

Prior to joining Kayne Anderson, Mr. Petrucco was a Managing Director of Blackstone’s Corporate Debt Group. Mr. Petrucco managed relationships with a number of financial sponsors, corporate and investment banks, alternative asset managers and other financial intermediaries. He was primarily responsible for sourcing mezzanine opportunities. Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Petrucco was a Managing Director of RBS Securities in New York City, where he worked for four years as the head of the leveraged loan, high yield bond, and mezzanine securities distribution group. Mr. Petrucco was the first hire in this group and was responsible for the construction of these businesses and also for all leveraged underwritings in North America. Before joining RBS, Mr. Petrucco spent 10 years at UBS Securities, in both the US and UK. At UBS he spent the first five years as a banker in the Financial Institutions Group and the last five years as a senior member of the leveraged loan high yield bond and mezzanine capital market and distributions teams. Virtually all of the leveraged activities at UBS were focused on the middle market. During his career, Mr. Petrucco has executed more than $30 billion worth of leveraged and structured financings.

Mr. Petrucco spent the first two years of his career at Manufacturers Hanover Trust as a credit analyst in the Private Client Group. Mr. Petrucco received a B.A. in Economics from Boston College.
