Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, L.P. (KACALP), has engaged in alternative investing since its inception in 1984. We manage over $8.3 billion in alternative investments through investment partnerships, closed-end funds and offshore funds. Separate investment teams focus on generating absolute returns in a variety of strategies which include investing in marketable securities in niche sectors, private investing in midstream and upstream oil and gas securities, private investing in non-energy growth equity, niche real estate and mezzanine financing. These strategies seek to identify and exploit alternative investment niches that we believe are generally not followed by the broader investor community. KACALP is 100%-owned by our investment professionals and management.

We employ a clear, disciplined investment process that utilizes proprietary research and rely upon our own judgment when making investment decisions. We emphasize the details and require accuracy and timeliness.
