Energy Infrastructure Update - January 18, 2011

research. J.C. and David provided an update on the energy infrastructure market,
both our equity and debt strategies, a brief review of 2011, including performance
results, as well as our outlook for 2012.

Company Overview
Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors has engaged in alternative
investing since its inception in 1984. We currently manage over $15.2 billion
in investments, principally through private investment partnerships
and public closed-end funds as of February 29,
2012. We pursue investment niches where we believe our
strategies and knowledge advantage enable us to identify, source
and structure investment opportunities that offer attractive and
sustainable returns with moderate levels of risk. These investment
niches often exist because of complexity, extreme sentiment or
investment size limitations. Our separately dedicated investment
teams focus on generating returns across a variety of strategies,
which include public investing in master limited partnerships and
other specialized marketable securities sectors, private investing
in midstream and upstream oil and gas companies, and private
investing in growth equity, niche real estate and mezzanine
